Plastic Ono Band Adds Dress Rehearsal Show
Yoko Ono has responded to the high demand for tickets to her upcoming show with the Plastic Ono Band by adding an additional performance.
The group is slated to play the Brooklyn Academy of Music's Gilman Opera House, and will now play a "dress rehearsal" show to accomodate the demand.
The newly-added set will take place on February 15th, and will feature Ono's band along with special guests including Eric Clapton, Paul Simon, Bette Midler, Martha Wainwright, Scissor Sisters as well as members of Sonic Youth.
"It's been incredible to watch the public demand soar for more Yoko Ono, following her wonderful new record, Between My Head and the Sky," said Ono's producer Jared Galler. "Adding this dress rehearsal performance will allow audience members a unique opportunity to witness the creative process of one of the great performers of our time."
Ono's latest effort was released last year, and has garnered excellent reviews from around the music world.
